As many of you know, states are actively redrawing districts using data from the 2020 Census. Disability advocates and organizations have an opportunity to advocate for fair maps that ensure representation of our communities for the next decade.
Join our webinar to learn about the redistricting process and how you can advocate for fair districts. With the 2020 Census data released, states have begun the redistricting process. Organizers have a chance to shape future districts by sharing about their communities. Speakers include Sophia Lakin of the ACLU, Jamara Wilson of Equal Ground, and Alicia Gurrieri of the League of Women Voters. They will explain what redistricting is, why it is important, and what you can do to ensure fair districts for your communities.
American Sign Language interpreting and live captioning CART will be provided during this webinar. For additional accommodations, contact Lilian Aluri at firstname.lastname@example.org.
